Where in Oregon?... I live in Bend and I have killed the lawn that was here in my little condo 7 yrs ago. I planted an organic garden using containers and a trellis and now I am seeing lots of worms so I guess the soil is purifying itself. I had moved here from Santa Rosa, CA where I had a beautiful garden and chickens. I miss my chickens so much. They were freerangers and ate their natural diet so the eggs were amazing. Just the other day we found 5 morels growing under a pine tree. Right now it is still so cold but I will amend the soil and plant starts pretty soon.

We used to chew on the green part of grass as kids. I make succotash with the whole dandelion plant, root to blossom.

Before some of the weeds die off I have dried them but not all. I love several “edible weed” teas too. I used dried plantain for a bite and so glad I had it. I am in Melbourne, Australia. Thanks for the good tips.

I've watched this video several times over the last few years. Here's my lingering question: I don't eat healthy when I don't meal prep. It's not feasible for me to make a smoothie every single day. I make 3 days worth, stored in glass bottles in my fridge. When I am out, I repeat. Is there anything wrong with that? Is this less optimal nutrition-wise?
